AT&T Win nscglobal Service Provider Yachting Regatta 2006

On the 11th of May 2006, nscglobal hosted the first Service Provider Yachting Regatta. Six teams including, AT&T, Accenture, LogicaCMG, Level3, Interoute and Verizon embarked their Jeanneau 40 for a day of racing and relaxation along the river solent. A morning of rigorous sailing training was followed by a well deserved lunch break on the isle of white, after which everyone was refuelled and ready to race.
With a number of sailing novices aboard and winds that struggled to reach over 2 knots, all the teams did exceptionally well. Team AT&T blazed over the finish line first in every race, and therefore were deservedly awarded the Service Provider Yachting Regatta Cup at the end of the day. The final placings were as follows:
